Our History
Some people develop a love for the produce industry over time, while others are introduced to it at a young age. Ben Donnelly, one of our owners, grew up with such a life.
When he was only fifteen, Ben started working at the fruit shop operated by his father, Darryl. Wyalla Plaza Fruit Mart and Anzac Avenue Fruit Mart, which were opened in 2008, were a source of many happy memories and experiences for him. In 2018, he took over the family business as the second-generation owner.
Soon after, Ben gave the company a new look and had the name changed to “Donnelly’s Fresh Fruit n Veg.” Their family continues to run the grocery store with their combined experience of more than 55 years, which has allowed them to provide satisfaction for every customer.
Donnelly's Fresh Fruit n Veg is located in one of the most convenient places in Toowoomba: Wyalla Plaza Shopping Centre. We are open 7 days a week, and we have easy single-level access and parking. Our goods are sourced from the Brisbane Produce Market, and our team takes great care in ensuring the quality of every item we offer.
